I just participated in the most epic photo shoot here in Sydney. I was invited to be the beauty expert in a photo shoot for an online magazine and by accepting that opportunity, I got to meet one of the top publicist in all Australia.
I’m on cloud nine!
Coming to Sydney took a stretch for me. I could have easily said no, that’s too far, I feel like I almost just got back from Paris.
I could have easily found a way to NOT justify the expense and the time I would take away from my husband, my new apartment and my new couch.
I could have thought that with the money I’ve invested on that trip, I could have decorated my whole new apartment…
Yet, if I didn’t come to Sydney I would have missed this amazing opportunity, not only to be part on the photo shoot of a renowned international figure, also, I would have not met the top publicist in the country…….and last but not least, I would have missed in finding the most glorious skirt…(ok, I know that’s just vanity but I am so happy with it).
Seriously and most importantly, I would have missed connecting with incredibly powerful women entrepreneurs from all over the world and participate in activities that not only nourished my business but my life as a woman in business as well.
Instead I say YES and immediately after, I received money from a client joining one of my private day intensives that paid for half my trip already. I know I keep writing about this, and yes! it keeps happening…because I keep saying YES to my desires and opportunities in my life.
The experience with the photo shoot got me thinking…how fun it would be to have my own magazine. Watching what was being modeled for me right before my eyes, inspired me to one day have my own photo shoot for my own magazine…
The day after, on my way back home I found a magazine on the plane with the title:“Paula Style”…if that is not a great confirmation from the Universe, tell me what is? ha!
This is the formula to manifest your desires:
– You have a desire
– You say YES to that desire (even if things don’t look like it will happen or that you have the resources) and trust, without a single doubt that you will get it
– Nourish the desire daily, by keeping a positive mindset
– Be on the look out for activities or conversations that bring you closer to your desire
This is the key, to show up and when we do, opportunities and miracles present themselves.
The main reason that inspires me to host Private Day Intensives is because this is the kind of opportunities that are available when YOU say YES to yourself in this way.
