Wanna detox with me this week?

Labor Day weekend

Here in the States, this past weekend we celebrated “Labor Day”, which marks the end of yet another glorious Summer season. I don’t know about yours, but mine, was filled with travels, exotic destinations like Iceland and Paris, delicious foods, decadent desserts, and tons of fun. As you can see in the picture bellow, lots of baguettes too!

This is what is all about, isn’t it?

There’s also time to give the body a bit of rest. I woke up today feeling inspired to do a detox. This doesn’t seem that exciting for most people, I know.  Yet, it’s actually fun for me to get to listen to my body and this time, it was asking for a clean slate.

For me, a detox is an opportunity to connect with your body in a healthy and loving way. As you might already know, I am all about pleasure, enjoyment and fun, which is the opposite to sacrifice and hard work.

I know the word detox brings out so much resistance in most people.  A detox is about giving the body a break. The intensity of it? Will depend on YOU and where you are in your life. Sometimes, it can be simply removing junk food from your diet. Other times, you can get more specific, like taking out sugar, dairy and wheat. Some more advanced, might just do a liquid detox.

Honestly, there is no right or wrong here. Again, a detox is a great opportunity to reconnect and regain power within your body. Also to feel lighter, stronger, healthier and more in tuned.

I know that for us women, connecting with our feminine body gives us direct access to our power and our beauty. I must admit, after this Summer, I was feeling a little bit disconnected from my body. This is why I hired a personal trainer and now, I get to incorporate the diet piece.

Because I know it can get confusing and overwhelming, and I REALLY want to inspire YOU to do it with me, I have decided to GIFT you the “Love Your Beauty Detox”. This is a detox I only share with my clients, and it is specifically designed for the modern woman like YOU. There are delicious recipes and is very cleansing, super gentle and actually fun, believe it or not.

Here are a couple of points to take into consideration when it comes to a detox:

Number One: Have a clear intention for your detox. My main recommendation is that you do a detox because you have a purpose or intention behind it, this will support you to sustain this commitment to yourself and your body.  My intention for my detox is to allow myself to regain strength, trust and power within my body.

What would be yours? This is a key step, before even you say YES to starting your detox.

Number Two: Decide which kind of detox you are willing to commit to. Don’t make it complicated. The idea here is to give your body a little break from the Summer indulgence. Your body and you will be very pleased with the results from allowing at least a week of time to reset.

Also, there is a very important action to take into account, once you have committed to a detox. The way you act towards yourself while you are in it.

Here is an example of what I will do throughout my detox: I make sure…

– to be extra kind to my body
– to celebrate myself no matter what
– to journal every day to keep track of my experience
– to focus on decluttering as much as I can (my home, my office, my purses)
– to allow my body to move without being harsh or pushy
– to tell to myself “I am beautiful” every time I look in the mirror

If you feel this is a great way to start a new season of your life and you are looking to regain power within your body, your mind and your emotions,I would LOVE for you to join me.
