It is not rare for me anymore during my travels to come across beautiful people along my journey.  Like I shared in my Travel Guide, I love staying at hotels and I also truly enjoy staying at apartments and feel like a local when I travel.

Right before leaving for Paris back in June, I found this gorgeous 17th Century apartment where I would start and end my visit in Paris. This is how I got to meet Madame Françoise. By the photo, you might already be able to grasp that this Parisian woman is not an ordinary beauty.This Femme is três chic and a true example of a unique and sophisticated Parisian. 

I wish I had more time to hear all of the many stories this femme treasures, so I want to share with you what she reminded me about femininity, beauty and pleasure over a cafe au lait one morning. The first thing she said as we sat down was: “BEAUTY is essential and one must make it a priority”:

• Have your home neat and clean, you never know who can come by to visit.
• Your plants should be watered every other day if you want to see beautiful blossoms.
• A femme must always wear lipstick, rouge is the color that suits almost every woman
• Dress chic, even to go to run an errand. Life is too short to be wasting it in grubby clothes
• Learning about different cultures inspires you to know more about yourself and others
• Traveling is a way to connecting with your soul
• Romance is what keeps us alive. She actually shared a beautiful story about her first love who recently contacted her via internet. They are in their 60’s and they decided to meet for dinner. She confessed that her heart felt 18 again when she saw him and that he hasn’t changed a bit. Till this day, they have been emailing every day.
• When you eat with pleasure, you never gain weight.
